"...And He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you...'' 2 Cor. 12:9
Oh Starry Night

I FEEL OLD. I suddenly get the feeling that life is too short, and I need to live each moment, not looking forward to something else, wishing it was some other time in the future. Make this minute worthwhile too!! Hopefully I can work for the next 40 years... but not hate my job, travel, experience things, not be too stingy about money to buy myself things that make me happy. Hopefully it won't all be gone in the blink of an eye because I lived such a mundane life that every day was nondescript, same as the next. Less time on the computer... that's this year's birthday resolution (is there such a thing? Well I guess I just made it a thing).
Have you ever watched kids On a merry-go-round? Or listened to the rain Slapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short. The music won't last. Do you run through each day On the fly? When you ask How are you? Do you hear the reply? When the day is done Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head? You'd better slow down Don't dance so fast Time is short The music won't last. Ever told your child, We'll do it tomorrow? And in your haste, Not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time To call and say,'Hi'
You'd better slow down. Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there When you worry and hurry through your day, It is like an unopened gift.. Thrown away. Life is not a race. Do take it slower Hear the music
Before the song is over.

"A smile is the best way to deal with difficult situations... Even if it's a fake one"
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Psalms 18:2
